Cosmetic Packaging Machines for Filling, Sealing & Line Integration

Choose a cosmetic filling machine from the real formulation, container, closure, accepted output and cleaning plan. HIJ can define a stand-alone filler or an integrated cosmetic packaging line after reviewing your samples and drawings.

Start with the product and package—not a generic machine label

“Cosmetic filling machine” covers several different equipment routes. The correct route depends on how the pack enters the machine, how the product flows, and how the package closes.

Quick answer

This page is the commercial selection hub. Use it to choose the machine family, then confirm the final configuration with actual product and packaging samples.

Flow
Viscosity, foaming, particles, temperature and stringing.
Pack
Bottle, jar, tube, ampoule, sachet or wipe format.
Proof
Accepted fill, closure, code, rejects and FAT evidence.

Match each cosmetic product to its packaging route

These routes are not interchangeable modules on one universal machine. Use the cards to reach the focused commercial page for each application.

01

Liquids in bottles

Serums, toners, oils and other free-flowing products. Define bottle stability, dose range, cap or pump and drip control.

02

Creams in jars or bottles

Lotions, creams, masks, gels and viscous products. Confirm product feed, hopper condition, nozzle cut-off and cleaning.

Cream filling machine
03

Products in tubes

Sunscreen, cream and gel in plastic, laminate or other approved tube formats. Filling and tail sealing belong to one validated route.

04

Serum in plastic ampoules

Roll-fed plastic ampoule projects combine web handling, forming, liquid dosing, sealing, coding and cutting.

05

Single-dose sachets

Samples and travel packs for cream, gel or liquid products. Film structure, dose, seal area and opening method drive the machine scope.

06

Wet wipes

Material unwinding, folding, liquid dosing, primary sealing and optional lid application must be balanced as one line.

Complete process boundary

Define the complete cosmetic filling and packaging sequence

A reliable line is more than a dosing head. Each station must accept the real upstream condition and deliver a controlled pack to the next stage.

01

Prepare product

Agree mixing, heating, holding, deaeration and transfer conditions where required.

02

Feed packs

Orient bottles, jars, tubes, preformed containers or flexible webs at a stable pitch.

03

Meter product

Select the pump, hopper, hose and nozzle after representative product trials.

04

Close or seal

Apply caps, pumps, droppers, tube seals or lidding material using the approved pack.

05

Code and inspect

Define variable data, readable-code checks, fill or closure inspection and reject logic.

06

Transfer downstream

Connect labeling, cartoning, case packing or collection without creating a new bottleneck.

My Insight

Do not approve a filler from a viscosity number alone. Two formulas in the same broad viscosity band can foam, string, trap air or separate differently. Send the actual product, container and closure so the dosing path and acceptance test can be defined together.

Product behavior and dosing

Choose the filling method from real product behavior

The quotation should state what was tested, the selected dosing route and the conditions behind the result. Avoid treating every cosmetic as a generic liquid.

Automation and accepted output

Size the line from accepted packs—not a headline speed

A stand-alone filler, automatic monoblock or integrated line should be selected from the same production basis: representative product, pack format, changeovers, planned stops and downstream capacity.

Stand-alone or semi-automatic

Useful for flexible batches where operators handle some feeding, transfer or closure tasks. Define labor and manual inspection explicitly.

Automatic machine

Automates pack feeding, metering and the selected closure or sealing route. Confirm sensors, rejects and change parts for every SKU.

Integrated filling line

Connects filling with capping, sealing, labeling, cartoning or case packing. The interface and accumulation plan matter as much as each machine.

Quotation engineering

Compare an itemized project scope

Cosmetic filling machine price changes with the product path, package handling, closure method, change parts, controls, documentation and downstream interfaces. Compare line items instead of an unsupported headline number.

Required quotation inputs

  • Full product and SKU list
  • Container, tube, sachet or web drawings
  • Empty and filled samples
  • Fill range and accepted output
  • Closure, seal and code requirements
  • Utilities, room and line interfaces

Price and scope drivers

  • Product feed and dosing system
  • Number of filling heads or lanes
  • Format parts and changeover inventory
  • Capping, sealing and inspection options
  • Controls and data requirements
  • FAT, documents, service and delivery scope

Ask for a scope you can compare line by line

HIJ can return a machine route, option boundary, test basis and quotation after the product and packaging inputs are defined.

FAT, cleaning and changeover

Put the acceptance evidence in the technical agreement

Good documentation connects the approved formula and package to settings, change parts, inspection rules and signed results.

01

Controlled inputs

Approved product, packs, closures, drawings, format parts and machine configuration.

02

Normal run

Agreed duration with stable feeding, fill, closure, coding, inspection and discharge.

03

Challenges

Representative low supply, missing pack, closure fault, reject, restart and changeover checks.

04

Records

Settings, counts, rejects, defect samples, alarms, deviations, actions and open items.

Cleaning and changeover: agree which parts are removed, which surfaces contact product, the cleaning method, inspection access, recipe handling and the change-part matrix. The customer owns final cleaning validation and release decisions.
Frequently asked questions

Cosmetic filling machine FAQ

What is a cosmetic filling machine?

It is equipment configured to meter a cosmetic product into an approved bottle, jar, tube, ampoule, sachet or other primary pack. The filling method, product feed, nozzle and closure process must match the real formula and package.

Which cosmetic filling machine is suitable for creams and lotions?

Creams and viscous lotions usually require a controlled product-feed path, a suitable positive-displacement dosing method and clean shut-off. The final choice depends on viscosity behavior, temperature, particles, fill range and whether the pack is a jar, bottle or tube.

Can one machine fill serum, lotion and cream?

Sometimes, but only when the dosing range, product path, cleaning plan and change parts cover every approved SKU. Widely different formulas or package types may need dedicated routes to protect output and changeover time.

How do I choose between a bottle filler, tube filler and ampoule machine?

Choose from the package and closure. Bottles and jars use container feeding plus filling and capping; tubes require filling and tail sealing; roll-fed plastic ampoules combine forming, filling, sealing and cutting.

How much does a cosmetic filling machine cost?

Price depends on product handling, dosing technology, automation, number of heads or lanes, package formats, closure method, inspection, controls, documentation and line integration. A useful quotation lists these decisions separately.

What samples are needed before quotation and FAT?

Send representative product, empty packages, closures, drawings, label or code requirements and the full SKU matrix. Also state the fill range, required accepted output, utilities and downstream interface.

How should filling accuracy be specified?

Define the measurement method, sample quantity, product and package, fill target, acceptance limits, operating condition and treatment of start-up or rejected packs. Avoid using an accuracy claim without its test conditions.

What should be tested during FAT?

Test a normal production run plus representative challenges, changeover, alarms, inspection and reject behavior. Record settings, counts, defects, signed results and open items against the agreed acceptance plan.
